“May 2026 – the parkpnp app which is a subsidiary of Wayleadr suffered a serious security breach in recent weeks. Online payments through the parkpnp app or by using the Wayleadr QR codes was immediately suspended as a precautionary customer protection measure.
Steps are being taken to restore online payments without delay, and we apologise for the inconvenience caused.
In the meantime, contactless payment facilities (as well as card and coin) are available at paystations in the car parks.”
Port of Waterford owns and operates car parks on the South Quays in Waterford City Centre.
Our barrier-free car parks at Merchants Quay (near the Bus Station) and Clyde Wharf (opposite the GPO) are located on the South Quays in Waterford City Centre. Both are Pay & Display. Disabled (blue) badge holders do not have to pay for parking in our car parks.
