Port Safety Week – Together for Safer Ports
From 20–24 October, we’ll join ports across Ireland and Europe to mark Irish Port Safety Week 2025 – a week dedicated to promoting awareness, collaboration, and continuous improvement in safety across the maritime sector.
At Port of Waterford, safety is everyone’s responsibility.
Throughout the week, our teams will take part in inspections, training workshops, and awareness sessions, covering everything from digital safety management to emergency response, wellbeing, and first aid.
This national initiative, supported by the Irish Ports Safety Forum and the Health and Safety Authority, aligns with European Safety Week, this year themed Safety in the Digital Age.
