Waterford Pilot retires after 22 years service
Our valued colleague Pilot Peter O’Rourke retired today after 22 years of pilotage service having safely guiding thousands of ships to and from Port of Waterford.
Peter began his career with us in 2001. In that time, Peter has piloted many types of ships including bulk carriers, cruise, tallships, naval, container and project cargo vessels like today’s BBC Lisbon carrying wind energy project components.
We wish Peter and his wife Corinna fair winds and following seas as they embark on their next voyage.
