Successful audit of certified Health & Safety Management System
Port staff successfully navigated a surveillance audit of the ISO 14001 and 45001 Environmental Health & Safety Management Systems.
The auditor is happy to put Port of Waterford forward for continued certification. The audit was the culmination of a significant amount of work by our EHS Manager Lorraine Casey-Power and port staff to ensure compliance with relevant standards.
Other highlights of the year include full particication in the Irish Ports Safety Forum, Port Safety Week in October, migrating to a new EHS platform, internal Safety management system reviews as well as daily checks and routine inspections.
