Notice to Mariners: Construction of Sustainable Transport Bridge
Notice to Mariners No. 09 of 2023
On or about Monday 24th July 2023, construction work on Waterford City’s new Sustainable Transport Bridge will commence between the North and the South Quays. The attached chart extract, Appendix A, indicates the area of operation and where the bridge piers (vertical supports) will be established.
To facilitate the works, the pontoon at the Clock Tower will be partially dismantled and is no longer available for use.
The works are expected to last until December 2024.
