Vacancy: Marine Pilot ( Píolóta Muirí ) – Applications now closed
- Applications are invited from marine professionals to fill the post of Marine Pilot.
- Applicants should possess a valid STCW (regulation II/2) Certificate of Competency (Deck) on vessels of 500gt or more and be sailing in the position of Mate / Master, or possess an STCW (regulation II/1) OOW Unlimited Certificate and have recent experience in handling marine craft in a port environment.
- The successful applicant must permanently reside within close proximity of the Pilot Station at Dunmore East, Co. Waterford.

- Ba cheart Deimhniú Inniúlachta (Oifigeach Léibhinn) bailí faoi STCW (rialachán II/2) a bheith ag iarratasóirí ar shoithí 500gt nó níos mó agus ba cheart dóibh a bheith ag seoltóireacht mar Mháta / Mháistir, nó ba cheart Deimhniú gan Teorainn STCW (rialachán II/1) mar Oifigeach Faire a bheith acu mar aon le taithí le déanaí ar árthaí muirí a láimhsiú i gcalafort.
- Ní mór don iarratasóir a n‑éireoidh leis a bheith ina chónaí go buan an-ghar don Stáisiún Píolótaíochta i nDún Mór, Co. Phort Láirge.
- Applicants must have a legal entitlement to work in Ireland and a proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading and writing the English language.
- The Port of Waterford reserves the right to shortlist candidates and / or form a panel for future vacancies.
