Port of Waterford is fully committed to ensuring that all activities of the company be conducted in a safe manner.
Our safety policy gives details of the arrangements that we have put in place to safeguard the safety, health and welfare of every person who may be exposed due to our work activities.
Port of Waterford through its safety management system commits to:
- Continuous Improvement
- Be compliant with current National and relevant European legislation
- Be compliant with other safety requirements, in line with the Code of Practice for Health and Safety in Dock Work, 2016
- Have processes and procedures in place so as to actively prevent ill health, and/or injury to employees, subcontractors and members of the public.
- Have processes and procedures in place to prevent pollution damage to the environment.

Our online safety induction programme is aimed at ensuring that all unaccompanied personnel entering Belview Port operational area have an understanding of the minimum requirement when visiting the site.
