Tall Ships Waterford 2011
Waterford's North and South Quays hosted nearly 50 majestic Tall Ships, 1,500 sail trainees and an estimated 450,000 maritime, music and festival fans on the quays of Ireland’s oldest city. |

On the Tall Ships were dozens of Irish young people enjoying the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to participate as trainees, alongside their international peers. Bryan Ferry, The Waterboys and Sharon Shannon and a host of other music acts entertained thousands on three nights. Fireworks finished off three glorious evenings.
