Port of Waterford is currently operating at Security Level 1.

All facilities have been certified as compliant by the Department of Communications, Marine & Natural Resources under the ISPS Code.

All persons are required to carry appropriate port or recognised photo ID as set out in the ISPS Code.

Acceptable forms of identification are:

• Irish or UK (photocard) Driver’s licence
• Photo I.D. Card issued by a Government agency
• Seaman’s I.D. Card or Discharge book (with photo)
• Passport
• Employee Photo I.D. from another Port Facility/Terminal in Waterford
• Defence Forces photo I.D. card
