We've Moved!
The Port of Waterford office has moved to the port itself. A new office development, Marine Point, has been built adjacent to the port, and Port of Waterford are it's first occupants. Built by Store-All Warehousing, the signature building gives an impressive entrance to the port, and the company's offices give a commanding view of the port from the third floor.
We look forward to working with existing and new customers from our new location
Facts
The Port of Waterford situated on the South
Eastern coast of Ireland is the nearest major
Irish Port to mainland Europe. It is Ireland's
fastest growing port, offering all the facilities
expected of a modern commercial port. Waterford
operates on a 24 hour, 7 day a week, all year
round basis. It has a skilled, adaptable and
cost efficient work force.
Two thirds of the Republic's population live within a 100 mile radius of Waterford. This fact, when combined with the excellent facilities, dedicated management and flexible workforce augurs well for the Port of Waterford's ambition to be Ireland's premier location for exporters, imports and industrials.
History
Historically, Waterford has dominated the southern
Irish Sea routes to the UK. The port has experienced
significant growth in trade to and from mainland
Europe since Ireland joined the EU and has become
the principal shipping centre in Ireland for
continental traffic in Ireland.
